Hey fans! Want to help me design the TARDIS control deck?
Here’s how!
Using this base, you can choose as many panels as you want to design controls, buttons, levers, or whatever you think would look nice for the controls. You can fill in one or all, it doesn’t matter.
If you want to, you can even label what the controls do, but you don’t have to do this.
Submit your design using the transmat
You have until the 24th, on that day I will choose individual panels (6 winning panels in total) to become the permanent design of the console controls for the rest of the duration of this blog. (That’s a long time!)
TIPS:
- Look at the console/controls from the show. Google image search ‘TARDIS Console’ and you’ll find plenty of references
- The 8th Doctor’s TARDIS was the biggest inspiration for the current design I have, including the recently added ‘Twilight Sparkle’ button which is based on a button he had before.
- The wibbly lever is important, it opens the doors and fixes TARDIS inceptions.
- It wouldn’t hurt to look at previous posts of Discord Whooves where he’s using the control deck
