You remember when I said seeing my friends upset makes me upset?
Well one of the most creative and amazing guys I know, and he is not getting enough credit for what he does. Most will know him as the guy who runs askthetimemaster. No he doesn’t do the art for it, but what he does do, is create the story for Discord Whooves and the Master. He makes everyone feel all the feels.
He is completely amazing, he works so hard on this story and he never gets any credit, and you know what? He should. What made you follow Discord? The art yes, in the first place, yet what has kept you around, going to the streams, waiting anxiously for the next update? The story. A story is just as important as the art.
Jitters is an amazing artist, Warden or Master or Chris whatever you call him, is one of the most fantastic writers I have ever seen. As a team they make up this beautiful story with beautiful art that makes people want to keep watching it.
I just want him to get some credit, he needs the credit, he doesn’t think it’s worth it anymore, just because he isn’t the artist. He puts so much time into this story, and not one person gives him credit for it. Not one and he really should be getting just as much credit as Jitters gets.
ooc If anyone has any reservations about loving on Warden, this post should sweep those reservations away. Certainly, the art is the easiest to appreciate, because we are visual creatures, but the story is the gem at the centre of the Discord Whooves universe.
Seriously… The Master would not even be a character in this story if it weren’t for him. Discord would have no source, Minuette would not exist, Miss Twi and Doc would have never had their touching moment, and the most recent events would never have happened.
If it weren’t for him The Master would just be a cheap 2 dimensional rape joke gag in poor taste just to get some fan service in.
I don’t know what it’ll take for people to understand how much work this guy does, or how much I get ideas from him.
Most of my ideas come from just idly discussing with other people, and he’s one of the prominent ones I talk to.

I’m the main story writer and artist for DiscordWhooves, yes. But many story arcs and ideas have come from his writing skills and suggestions because sometimes.. He’s more of an evil bastard than I am.

Yes, there are some more adult themes in his story, but in storyline mode it happens a lot less. Yes, eventually on this blog I’ll be putting together the 2 stories and explaining the things people may have missed, but that’s not for a long time so if you want to learn things such as… The origin of Discord and what happened to the Time Ponies, for example… You might want to go look at that blog.
The Master blog may be an extension to Discord Whooves, but it has it’s own story and it’s own style. Kind of like Torchwood to Doctor Who, for example. And I think it needs more credit on it’s own. Yeah, he had a bit of a rocky start, but that was because he was taking a character he knew nothing about and I barely had a story planned for him. Master’s mod literally built from the ground up, and we’re just now tapping into his full-on story and solidifying his personality.
He’s got a lot in store for you, and even for me. Hell, there are some things he’s been planning that even I don’t know about. That’s how much he works on this story.
